A couple find the skeleton of a baby as they are renovating their house. It appears to date from World War II. Then another is found in a nearby park which is only a couple of months old. This is Alex Delaware’s 28th mystery. He is a psychologist and is frequently called to help homicide Detective Milo Sturgis. They make an interesting pair, each bringing something different to the table. Here they wonder if they have a copy cat killer, then they come up with some crazy ideas and we have great fun following them in a slow moving tale that is not one of this best, but well worth a read.
