This book should come with a warning: Don’t open unless you have several hours to spare! You’re hooked in to Cleo’s life from the very first page.
Fuelled by fury and alcohol, Cleo trips into an uncharacteristic weekend fling with Justin after her husband, Gavin, manufacturers a marriage shaking row and scrawls This marriage is over on the bedroom wall, quite literally in marker pen! Justin is bowled over by Cleo’s sense of fun and air of madness – until it becomes clear that her marriage might be sailing through a storm rather than firmly on the rocks. He suspects he’s been no more than an instrument of revenge.
If you're looking for a really good, heart-warming read then this is your book. It's wonderfully well-written, with characters who stay with you long after you've finished reading. The story is very believable and you just have to keep reading to find out what happens. Highly recommended.
Revenge and love: it's a thin line...The writing's on the wall for Cleo and Gav. The bedroom wall, to be precise. And it says 'This marriage is over.' Wounded and furious, Cleo embarks on a night out with the girls, which turns into a glorious one night stand with - Justin, centrefold material and irrepressibly irresponsible. He loves a little wildness in a woman - and he's in the right place at the right time to enjoy Cleo's. But it's Cleo who has to pick up the pieces - of a marriage based on a lie and the lasting repercussions of that night. Torn between laid-back Justin and control freak Gav, she's a free spirit that life is trying to tie down. But the rewards are worth it!

About Sue Moorcroft
Sue Moorcroft is a working writer. She writes novels, short stories, serials, articles, courses and "how to" books. (Yes - she works jolly hard.) Her novels are Starting Over and All That Mullarkey (Choc Lit) and Uphill All the Way (Transita) in paperback. As a long-serving committee member of the Romantic Novelists' Association, Sue is the editor of Loves Me, Loves Me Not, a short-story anthology published to celebrate the association's 50th Anniversary.
Sue was born in Germany, part of an army family. Her childhood included living in Cyprus and Malta, as well as the UK. She has worked in a bank, as a bookkeeper (probably a mistake), for Motor Cycle News and for a typesetter but is pleased to be able to leave all those 'proper jobs' behind.
Sue Moorcroft is theWinner of the Festival of Romance - Best Romantic Read 2011 for Love & Freedom.
