A great tale about friendship and relationships. Three best friends have all enjoyed the hope and joy of each others hen nights but found the intervening years have not been quite as rosy as they all may have hoped. Lovely characters who are all very different and equally fascinating, this is chick-lit at its best.
A letter from Lucy Diamond to our readers.....
Dear Lovereading members...
Take three hen nights (or maybe more)… add a few gallons of cocktails, and some outrageous challenges, then stir wildly for several hours. Next, spice up the mixture with some heartbreak, lying and a generous dollop of backstabbing. Now leave to simmer…
I’ve always loved a good girly night out, and I think a hen night is a brilliant excuse to pull out all the stops and really let your hair down! With ‘Hens Reunited’, I wanted to write a novel that not only featured a series of very different hen nights but celebrated the bigger theme of friendship as well – something that is deeply important to me, and most other women too, I imagine. However, just to keep things interesting, I decided to start the novel at a point where friendship between my three main characters has unexpectedly broken down…
I hope I’ve created a novel that is the equivalent of a great girls’ night out – lots of fun, a bit of naughtiness, maybe even a few regrets and recriminations, but ultimately something that will leave a smile on my readers’ faces.
Best wishes, Lucy Diamond
