A compelling mixture of communists, the Cold War, British intelligence and Nazi death doctors, all embroiled in a science-based plot blanketed in the deathly fog of post war London … wonderfully atmospheric. Twins figure in an interesting side theme – twins stillborn and twins murdered. The science of the book centres around DNA, the blueprint of life and as the double helix of the DNA molecules twist and turn, so too does the plot. Highly enjoyable.
