This week, the shortlist for the 11th Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards were announced. Championing excellence in the UK's current and emerging food and drink writing, publishing, broadcasting and photography, the awards are the most prestigious in their field. The books in this year's shortlist celebrate everything from the British breakfast to cooking with a pressure cooker, cocktails, sacred drinks and more. 

The winners will be announced at Fortnum & Mason, The Royal Exchange on Thursday 11th May.
