After an absence of five years, Ian Rankin has just announced that he’s written a new Rebus novel and it’s coming in November. It is called Standing in Another Man's Grave. Rebus is as stubborn and anarchic as ever, but he finds himself in trouble with Ian Rankin's latest creation, Malcolm Fox of Edinburgh's Internal Affairs unit. In the meantime his protégée Siobhan has stepped from under his shadow and is forging ahead in her own career. We can’t wait – and to keep you occupied until then why not read his latest novel, The Impossible Dead, which is just out in paperback.
