February, the short final leg of Winter before Spring emerges. It's LGBT+ History Month and an opportunity to reflect on the history of gay rights within the civil rights movement as well as celebrate that love comes in all forms and our literary worlds can be as wonderfully varied as the one we live in. Speaking of love, February is also home to Valentine's Day and we have plenty of book love to share in our monthly roundup. 14th February is also International Book Giving Day, all the more reason to share some brilliant books with someone you love.
