To mark LGBT+ History Month we have put together a collection of books that offer opportunities to both celebrate and learn more about the LGBTQI community. A mixture of old favourites and new releases.
What is LGBT History Month?
LGBT+ History Month is an opportunity to reflect on the history of gay rights within the civil rights movement, as well as highlight the freedoms that have been won and the work still left to do to promote equality and inclusion within society.
When is LGBT History Month?
LGBT+ History Month runs throughout February each year. It is a chance for everyone to reflect and shine a light on our shared history and promote equality and diversity within our communities and beyond, now and in the future.
Why diverse reading matters.
