Prof. Yoshiyuki Nishio is a Professor of Kyoto University (Division of Forest and Biomaterials Science, Graduate School of Agriculture).Since 1982, his career has covered all academic occupations: 1982-90, Assistant Professor,Fukui University (1985-86, Res. fellow in McGill University); 1990-95, Associate Professor,Nagaoka University of Technology; 1995-99, Associate Professor, Tokyo University of Agriculture & Technology; 1999-2000, Professor, Tokyo University of Agriculture & Technology, and, concurrently, Director of the Museum of Fiber Science and Technology; 2001-Present, Professor, Kyoto University.
