Dr. Yong Wang is currently an associate professor of mining engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. He is a member of the All-China Environment Federation, the youth member of the Chinese Society of Rheology, the youth editorial committee member of the International Journal of Minerals, Metallurgy, and Materials, the youth associate editor of Mining Technology, the editorial member of Gold, and the member of the academic committee of youth experts of the Metal Mine. Dr. Wang received his B.S., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. Dr. Wang was a visiting scholar at the University of Ottawa, Canada, and also works as a postdoctoral researcher at the same institute. Dr. Wang has been engaged in the study of cemented paste backfill for metal mines for 12 years.
