Xin-She Yang obtained his D.Phil. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Oxford and subsequently worked at the Cambridge University and the National Physical Laboratory (UK) as Senior Research Scientist. He is currently Reader in Modeling and Optimization at Middlesex University London and Adjunct Professor at Reykjavik University (Iceland).
