He is the coauthor of Underground Classics: The Transformation of Comics into Comix. Wayne B. Wiegand is F. Williams Summers Professor of Library and Information Sciences and a professor of American studies at Florida State University. He is the coauthor of Books On Trial: Red Scare in the Heartland. Danky and Wiegand coedited Women in Print: Essays on the Print Culture of American Women in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries.
