Historian and author W.B. MacDonald was born and raised in New Westminster, British Columbia. A graduate of the University of Victoria, he worked in advertising before founding Invisible Hand Legacy Books. He is the author of "Henry the Dwarf and Other Stories of Crescent Beach" and of "The Good Hope Cannery" (Caitlin Press, 2011).
