Dr. Vikas Dhawan is an Academician, Administrator, and Leader in the field of Higher education having more than 25 years of rich experience. He has administrative experience in the capacity of Pro-vice chancellor, Principal, Additional Director, Director & Director Principal in various Institutes of repute. He has filed 35 patents and has more than 50 research publications in International and National Journals and Conferences of repute. His main area of Research are Machining & Testing of Fiber-reinforced Composites and has guided two Ph.D. students in the field of biodegradable composites. He has established many labs, Incubation center and centers of excellence in the field of Mechanical Engineering. He is also trained in the field of Pneumatics by SMC, India and in the field of Entrepreneurship by DST & NIESBUD.
