Pérez is Associate Professor of Audiovisual Narrative at the Universitat Politècnica de València. He has published widely in scientific journals such as Projections, Culture & Psychology, Aisthesis, and L’Atalante. He is editor of SERIES, International Journal of TV Serial Narratives.
