Stefan Stern is a journalist and author. For over three decades he has been writing about leaders, management, businesses and organisations for a range for publications. He was the regular management columnist for the Financial Times between 2006 and 2010. He has also worked for the BBC and Management Today magazine, is a regular contributor to the Guardian, and ran the High Pay Centre (a think-tank which looks at the issue of executive pay) between 2015 and 2018. He has written two previous books on leadership and management. He is visiting professor in management practice at Bayes Business School, City, University of London.
