She is affiliated with the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, where she is on the supervising faculty. She is the author of the award-winning memoir, A Wolf in the Attic: The Legacy of a Hidden Child of the Holocaust (Routledge, 2002), and she is a painter.
