Dr. Sivakumar Naganathan is currently the professor and head of the department of  Civil Engineering, Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Chennai, India. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, in 1993, and Masters in Structural Engineering from the same institution in 1997. He obtained his Ph.D. in Concrete Technology from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 2010. He has got more than 25 years of experience in institutions in India and Malaysia. He has published more than 75 research papers in leading international journals and 9 monograms.  He is a certified international professional engineer, charted engineer and fellow of the Institution of Engineers India, and, a graduate member of ICE, UK.
