Silas S. Dada earned a BSc in geology at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria; an MSc in mineral exploration at the University of Ife, Nigeria; a DEA in tectonics, geophysics, and geochemistry; and a PhD in isotope geochemistry at the University of Science and Technology, Montpellier. He is a Certified Geoscientist (COMEG‑GEM00156), a member of the European Association of Geochemists, and a Fellow of many professional societies and associations, including the Association of Applied Geochemists, Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), Nigerian Association of Engineering Geology and Environment, and Nigerian Society of Mining Engineers. Professor Dada is bilingual in English and French, and he combines Precambrian research with mineral exploration with over 60 impactful publications.
