Sheree Mack was born in 1971 in Bradford to a Trinidadian father and a Geordie mother of Ghanaian and Bajan ancestry. She worked as a teacher for several years before studying for a PhD on black British women poets. Her first full collection, Family Album, was published by Flambard in 2011. She is currently the Creative Director of Earth Sea Love CIC. She lives in North Shields.
