Sarina Peterson graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in economics and worked in education program evaluation for four years before veering off course to pursue her true calling: illustrating cartoon amoebas. She is a self-taught artist who eventually realized that there were other art programs available besides MS Paint. Although she never considered herself a science enthusiast, Sarina loves breaking down complicated science concepts with quirky cartoons in a way her younger self would have appreciated. She works out of her home studio in Dallas, Texas, living the introvert's dream with two doggy coworkers. When she's not infusing personality into microscopic organisms, Sarina enjoys playing video games, watching anime, reading comics, and letting her nerd flag fly high with her husband, Ross, and budding player 3, Rose.
