Georgia native S. DENNIS HALE grew up in Opelika, Alabama and graduated from Samford University in Birmingham and the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He served 25 years in Europe as fraternal representative to Spain's Baptist Evangelical Union and is now a retired Baptist pastor, an acting Unitarian Universalist minister, and a freelance Spanish interpreter/translator.
