Wilcox, Ph.D., is a professor of English at Gordon College in Barnesville, Georgia, USA. founding editor of 'Critical Studies in Television' journal, and coeditor of 'Slayage: The Online International Journal of Buffy Studies'. She is the author of 'Why Buffy Matters: The Art of Buffy the Vampire Slayer' (I.B. Tauris, 2005) and the coeditor of 'Fighting the Forces: What's At Stake in Buffy the Vampire Slayer' (2002).?Tanya R. Cochran is Assistant Professor of English at Union College in Nebraska. Her publications include a chapter on 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' for 'Televising Queer Women' (2007). Currently she chairs the Science Fiction and Fantasy Area of the Popular Culture Association and serves on the editorial board of 'Watcher Junior: The Undergraduate Journal of Buffy Studies'.
