Prof. Piotr Kacejko, Ph.D., is a graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Lublin University of Technology. He specializes in the analysis of electric power systems. He is co?author of computer programs used in the power sector and author of more than 200 articles, papers and research reports. His work carried out over the past 15 years has concerned the determination of connection possibilities, the operation of RES units in the power system and the study of stability in system development planning. He is an expert appointed by the Energy Regulatory Office. He is also a member of the Committee on Electrical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and a member of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers and the American IEEE. He served as Rector of Lublin University of Technology from 2012 to 2020.
