Paul Dobrescu, PhD, is a Romanian scholar and the founder of the College of Communication and Public Relations at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration in Bucharest, Romania. During his long and productive career, he published numerous books and articles, and coordinated the research activities of the institution. Paul Dobrescu’s academic achievements revolve around the study of globalization and development issues, as well as geopolitics. His work has been translated in English (The Century of the Emerging World. Development with a Vengeance, Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2017) and French (Les crises post-crise.
