Prof. Lei Wang is the Dean of the School of Civil Engineering, Changsha University of Science and Technology, Changsha, China. He got the PH.D., M.S. and B.S. in 2008, 2005 and 2002, respectively.
He is a Young Yangtze River Scholar of the Ministry of Education, Young and Middle-age Science and Technology Leader of the Ministry of Transport, and Science and Technology Leader of Hunan Province, etc. He is a member of ASCE and IABSE. He is the Executive director of TEFC, the committee member of Structural Vibration Control and Health Monitoring and China Journal of Highway and Transportation Society.
His main areas of research are the intelligent operation and maintenance of bridges, the disease diagnosis and treatment of bridges, and engineering safety risk prevention and control.
