He is the editor of Through a Glass Darkly: Changing Perceptions of Baptist Identity and Rescue the Perishing: Selected Letters from Annie Armstrong and Other Writings. He coedited the essay collection Between Fetters and Freedom: African American Baptists since Emancipation.
