Dr K. S. Stayanarayanan is currently working as Professor & Head of Department at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University), Kattankulathur campus. He has obtained BE in Civil from College of Engineering, Guindy, 1984, ME in Structural Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, 1987 and PhD in Civil Engineering-Structural Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology. His major areas of research interest are Structural Systems, Sustainable Technology, Concrete Technology and Finite element Analysis. He has published 44 papers in peer reviewed international journals.  Dr. Hyung Joon Seo received the bachelor´s degree in civil engineering from Korea University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in geotechnical engineering from Korea University in 2013.
