John Salmon was born in Exeter and a graduate of Exeter University. John served twelve years in the Royal Air Force, joining the teaching profession in 1967. During his career as a teacher he had some writing experience. After his wife's death in 2019 he wrote his first book, Love Never Ends. His latest book is a happier memoir about their life together.
