Jean Pierre Ibar is, since 2011, Professor at the University of the Basque Country, Polymat Institute, Spain. He previously held other academic positions in the US, France, and China. From the mid-1970s until 2006, he worked in the US in leadership roles at the start-up companies he founded, especially on the technical and research sides. Some of the concepts presented in this book were developed into commercial products at these companies.
