Books By J. A. Baart, H. S. Brand - Author

J.A. Baart graduated in Dentistry from the Catholic University of Nijmegen, the Netherlands, in 1975 and then trained as an oral-maxillofacial surgeon at the Free University in Amsterdam. He has been a staff member of the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery, Free University Medical Center (VUmc) and the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA) since 1979. Dr. Baart has taught the dental students of ACTA the practical aspects of administration of local anesthetics for the past four decades. He is the author of 34 articles in international publications and editor of two Dutch textbooks on oral/oral and maxillofacial surgery.

H.S. Brand gained a Master's degree in Medical Biology in 1986 from the Free University in Amsterdam and a PhD from the University of Amsterdam in 1990.
