Ivana Rabbone is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Department of Health Science, University of Piemonte Orientale, "Maggiore della Carità" University Hospital, Novara, Italy. She is Chief of the Department of Paediatrics in Novara and she is the Director of Postgraduate School of Paediatrics at University of Piemonte Orientale. From 2013 to 2015 she was the Coordinator of the Italian Study Group on Diabetes of Italian Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology (ISPED) and she was in the panel of experts for the Italian guidelines on "Treatment of Diabetic Ketoacidosis", "Treatment of Pediatric Diabetes by Insulin Pumps", "Treatment of Hypoglycaemia in Pediatric Diabetes" and "Guidelines on physical activity in paediatric patients with diabetes mellitus". From 2017 to 2019 she was Vice President of ISPED. Her main interests are focused on Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, lipid metabolism, and obesity.
