Dr. Hui Zhang graduated from Zhejiang Normal University with a bachelor's degree, Beijing Sport University with a master's degree, and the University of Potsdam in Germany with a Ph.D. From 2003 to 2013, he was a professor at the Shanghai University of Sport, the executive deputy dean of China Table Tennis College, and director of the Key Lab of Technique and Tactic Diagnosis and Analysis, State General Administration of Sports. Since May 2014, he has worked at the Department of Sports Science, Zhejiang University as a Professor. He has won the second prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize for the Olympic scientific research project of the General Administration of Sport of China, the second prize in the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, and the second prize of the Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Sports Science Association.
