Hualin Zhang, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Southern California. Prior to that he held the position of the chief physicist of brachytherapy in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He serves as chair of the Radiosurgery Society GRID/Lattice, Microbeam and Flash Radiation Therapy Physics Working Group; and as the chair of the AAPM Intraoperative Mesh Brachytherapy Task Group. He has published over 50 peer reviewed journal articles. He is recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award there in 2018.
