Prof. Huafeng Ding was born in 1977 who is currently doctoral supervisor at China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China. He is also “Humboldt Scholar” and winner of Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation. He has successively received Ph.D. from Yanshan University and University of Duisburg-Essen. He has received No. 1 Special Funding of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and No. 43 First-Class Funding of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the nomination of National Top 100 Excellent Doctoral Dissertations. At present, he is the dean of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, director of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, executive director of Robot Branch of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and chairman of Wuhan Mechanical Engineering Society. He has presided over 18 state-, provincial-, or ministry-level level programs and published more than 100 academic papers.
