HERMAN VUIJSJE is a Dutch sociologist and writer./e He has worked as a journalist for a number of newspapers and magazines. His particular concern is the role that the politically correct baby boom generation played at the vanguard of the rapid social changes that began in Holland in the sixties. MARK T. HOOKER is a Visiting Scholar at Indiana University. He served as a linguist and area specialist with the U.S. Armed Forces and as a Department of Defense civilian. He is the author of Customs and Etiquette in Holland (1997) and The History of Holland (1999).
