Harry Bramma is an English composer, organist and teacher from Shipley, West Yorkshire. Bramma was educated at Bradford Grammar School where he was taught the organ, before reading theology and music at Pembroke College, Oxford in 1955, where he was organ scholar. Bramma taught music at King Edward VI School, Retford, in 1961, but shortly after was appointed Assistant Organist at Worcester Cathedral and Director of Music at the King's School, Worcester. In 1976 he became Organist and Director of Music at Southwark Cathedral, and he later served as Director of the Royal School of Church Music (1989-1998) and Director of Music at All Saints, Margaret St (1989-2004). Dr Bramma is a Vice-President of the Church Music Society.
