Dr. Madhuri Madhok is a veteran journalist and media academic. She has been associated as Assistant Professor, Journalism and Mass Communication, Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi. She has been a visiting faculty at the University of Delhi and a media counsellor of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). New Delhi-based Dr. Madhok has been a resource person for various communication courses organized by IIMC for the officers of Indian Armed Forces. She has organized workshops on media and related issues for the students of journalism and media practitioners alike. She has also participated in various national and international seminars and conferences organized by the UNESCO, UNDP, FICCI and CII. She is currently engaged in media research and regularly writes on various national and international issues in mainstream print and online media including The Sunday Guardian.
