Dieter Lohmar is Professor for Philosophy at the University of Cologne and Director of the Husserl-Archive Cologne. His research interests are phenomenology, transcendental philosophy, empiricism, philosophy of formal sciences and anthropology. Beside numerous articles he is the author of: Phänomenologie der Mathematik (Kluwer Dordrecht 1989), Erfahrung und kategoriales Denken (Kluwer Dordrecht 1998), Edmund Husserls 'Formale und Transzendentale Logik' (Wissenschaftliche Buchgesellschaft Darmstadt, Darmstadt 2000) and Phänomenologie der schwachen Phantasie (Springer Dordrecht 2008).
