David T. Neuman, MD FAAOS is the owner and clinical director of NY Sportscare, located in New York City. A native of Rye, NY, he attended Cornell University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in genetics and human development. He completed medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn. David continued his training there as a surgical intern and also underwent a four year orthopedic surgery residency. He completed his fellowship at Temple University, where he received specialty training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. For more than 15 years, David specialized in general arthroscopic surgery with a sports medicine philosophy, performing over 400 surgeries annually. He currently works as an orthopedic consultant. His current approach includes utilizing physical therapy and home exercises to help an injured joint recover to a functional state.
