David Tolin, Ph.D., is the Founder and Director of the Anxiety Disorders Center at The Institute of Living, and an Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Tolin obtained his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Arkansas and completed an internship at the Boston VA Medical Center. He then was a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania prior to his arrival at The Institute of Living. He is a past president of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies and the clinical psychology division of the American Psychological Association.
