Carole is an Early Years specialist and a Foundation Associate of Early Education, the UK’s leading educational charity for parents, carers and early years practitioners. At present she is running training courses for Early Education both in London and throughout the country. Carole has been a primary teacher, adviser and lecturer and she believes that learning maths should be exciting for all children, parents, teachers and practitioners. In the last few years Carole has written for a range of publishers including the BBC Worldwide, BEAM, Reed Publishing and Nursery World. She had a leading role in the National Numeracy Strategy and was until recently responsible for developing the Early Years materials for BEAM and Nelson Thornes. Judith is currently an independent early years consultant with ‘4 children’ and has contributed significantly to the Foundation Years website (the DfE conduit with the Early Years Workforce).
