Dr. Bedangadas Mohanty is currently a Professor at the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Jatni, India. He leads the experimental heavy-ion physics program at NISER and is instrumental in international collaborations—STAR at BNL, USA, ALICE at CERN, Geneva, CBM at GSI, Germany and SuperCDMS at SNOLAB. He is a Recipient of the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, 2015 and the INFOSYS Prize in Physical Sciences, 2021. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences India (NASI), Indian National Science Academy (INSA), Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS) and the American Physical Society (APS). Dr. Sanjay Swain is currently a Professor at the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Jatni, India.
