Associate Professor Dr. Badrul Hisham Yahaya (Ph.D.) is Principal Investigator and Former Head of Regenerative Medicine Cluster, Advanced Medical and Dental Institute (AMDI), Universiti Sains Malaysia. Dr. Yahaya obtained his B.Sc. (with Hons) degree in Genetic from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (2002) and M.Sc. in Human Genetics from the Universiti Sains Malaysia (2006). Dr. Yahaya was awarded a fellowship of Academic Staff Training Scheme (ASTS) from the Universiti Sains Malaysia and the Malaysian Government to pursue his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. For his Ph.D., Dr. Yahaya received his training at the Roslin Institute and Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, under the supervision of Dr. David Collie and Dr. Gerry McLachlan, the members of the CF Trust Group. In professional bodies, Dr. Yahaya is Active Member in various national and international societies.
