Azman Jalar is a professor of applied metallurgy at Department of Applied Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology and a Principal Research Fellow at Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. His research interests including structure-properties-performance relationship materials.Zaidi Embong is a Professor of Applied Physics at Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology (FAST), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). He received his PhD from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom. His expertise is in the field of surface science, and his research focuses primarily on metal surface oxidation studies. He is also well known as an international peer reviewer for several high impact journals such as Applied Surface Science, Elsevier and Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Elsevier, and has received two high prestige awards from Elsevier, "Outstanding Contributions in Reviewing" for both high impact journals.
