Andrew Helfer

Andrew (Andy) Helfer started out at DC Comics in the special projects department in 1981. By 1985 he had taken on editorial duties and was responsible for overseeing Justice League of America and Superman among other titles. After founding the DC imprint Paradox Press in 1993, Helfer edited Max Allan Collins' Road to Perdition and John Wagner's A History of Violence, both of which became successful movies.

As a writer, Helfer has worked on titles including Deadman and Judge Dredd for Dc Comics, The Shadow with Bill Sienkiewicz for Dynamite, and Malcolm X: A Graphic Biography for Hill and Wang.
