As a freelance writer, Alan Yuill Walker has spent his life writing about racing and bloodstock. For over forty years he was a regular contributor to Horse & Hound and has had a long involvement with the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association.

He was also a leading contributor to The Bloodstock Breeders' Annual Review.
