ALAN GREEN is Music Reference Librarian, Cataloger, and Assistant Professor at Ohio State University, Columbus. In addition to writing on music and librarianship, he is also active as a composer. His music is published by Acoma Edition, Toronto. Green was presented the 1991 Walter Gerboth Award by the Music Library Association in support of his research on Allen Sapp.
