The Adventures of Cammy Lambie
“In this short story, you will see the tender heart of love and careful words of instruction of Mother. The law of kindness is on Mother’s tongue. She demonstrates watchful protection over Cammy and Sammy as she daily is in their presence. Parents can easily relate the mother’s heart, akin to the heart of Jesus as He is to His children. A wonderful and useful book. Had I had this book when my children were small, I certainly would have made use of it. I highly recommend this for all ages!” Patti Roberts- married homeschooling mother of seven with growing number of grand babies. “Mara-lee has given us a tremendous gift. Christians throughout history have systematically taught the faith to their children. This practice of systematic training in a catechism has become largely neglected by the Church in the last generation. Mara-lee’s hope is to bridge the gap between the old ways of training our kids up in solid doctrine, allowing them to wrestle with the deep things of God, and modern children’s story telling. I hope many find her work to be a blessing to the spiritual life of their children and a warm treasure in their home during the intimate times as the family gathers.” Pastor Jeff Durbin- married father of four, sought after for his debate skills and also the main host of ApologiaRadio.com “Mara-lee has peeked into a child’s inquiring mind and has given solid answers to questions about how to hear and respond to God’s voice. Children will love the way Cammy’s Adventures introduces them to new experiences in their lives. This delightful book will be a great tool for opening up discussions both at home and in the classroom.” Donna Lapp- married mother of 3, grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 10. She is also a retired elementary grade school teacher.

[Spanish] - Enterrados Vivos ?

HORSE RIDING FOR BEGINNERS: A Step-by-Step Guide to Learning and Enjoying Horseback Riding
Numerous physical and psychological advantages of horseback riding contribute to general well-being. First off, riding calls for strength, balance, and coordination in terms of physical fitness. While riding, riders frequently change their balance, which helps to build stronger core muscles and increase stability in general. Along with improving strength and muscular tone, maintaining a proper riding position engages several muscle groups, including the legs, arms, and back. Horseback riding is also advantageous for your heart. An aerobic workout that stimulates the heart is provided by the rhythmic action of riding, such as the rise and fall of the horse's pace. Regular riding sessions can build endurance, circulate blood more efficiently, and raise heart rate. Horseback riding has advantages for mental health in addition to physical health. The relationship between the rider and the horse fosters friendship and trust. Spending time with horses can be therapeutic because it enables people to get away from the stresses of everyday life and find comfort in their company. Additionally, horseback riding is a rare chance to be in touch with the natural world. Riding a horse allows riders to immerse themselves in the grandeur of the natural world as they explore paths, meadows, and forests. When combined with the rhythmic motion of the horse, the calmness and tranquility of the surroundings can have a relaxing impact on the mind, easing tension and fostering relaxation.

HORSE RIDING FOR BEGINNERS: The Ultimate Handbook for Novice Equestrians: Techniques, Tips, and Safe

A burst of adrenaline will race through your veins as you mount a horse and direct it through broad pastures or down twisting trails. You are able to break free from the constraints of modern life and experience a more fulfilling connection with the horse as well as the natural world when you go horseback riding. Riding horses, in contrast to the widespread notion, is not a passive activity; rather, it uses your complete body and is therefore a satisfying form of physical endeavor. Being able to maintain your balance while riding a horse that is moving demands core strength, stability, and coordination. Riding helps to improve posture, develop core strength, and promote total body control because of the continuous activation of muscles during the activity. Riders also enjoy increased flexibility as a result of the process of adapting to the movements of the horse. In addition, the rhythmic motion of the horse's gait offers a low-impact kind of exercise that is beneficial to one's cardiovascular health and increases one's stamina. The connection that exists between rider and horse is indescribable. Horses are exceptionally observant animals, and the trust and bond that can develop between a horse and its rider is something absolutely unique and beautiful. You and your horse will develop a strong sense of connection and mutual understanding as you spend time together grooming, feeding, and otherwise taking care of it.

The Velociraptor: The History of the Popular but Misunderstood Dinosaur Genus
The massively popular 1990 novel Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton and its subsequent movie adaptations led to a huge resurgence in interest in dinosaurs and the prehistoric world. That interest continues to the present day, even though most of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park weren’t actually from the Jurassic period. Triceratops, Velociraptor, Tyrannosaurus Rex and the huge sauropods such as Brachiosaurus that feature in the book and movies all actually belong to the Late Cretaceous period, more than 40 million years after the end of the Jurassic. Regardless, the movie made certain kinds of dinosaurs instantly recognizable, even if associated with the wrong era. Thanks to the movie, there has been some unwitting confusion over the identity of the Velociraptor, and this confusion was due in large part to the fact the name sounds far more scary than the creature to which the name originally belonged. Moreover, the creature to which the label was applied in the novel and movie was actually a distant cousin named Deinonychus, but as the story goes, the author, Michael Crichton, thought “Velociraptor” sounded “more dramatic.” The actual Velociraptor lived not in the badlands of North America, but in the badlands of central-eastern Asia, and it was not nearly as intimidating as Deinonychus. In fact, the main species of genus Velociraptor - Velociraptor mongoliensis - was no bigger than a turkey. Thus, in a very real sense, the Velociraptor has taken on a larger-than-life reputation.
