Spirits Unveiled: A Theological Unveiling of the Spiritual Realm
Spirits Unveiled is an in-depth study of angelic beings, ghosts, and demonic entities and the deliverance from such spirits. The book engages angelology and demonology to examine the mysterious realm of the spirit world. In Spirits Unveiled, Manning calls attention to the harmful tactics used in the deliverance ministry, such as binding and loosing, generational curses, and false doctrines concerning sickness, while shedding light on demons and deliverance. Spirits Unveiled investigates Hellenism, Greek thought, and the exile to Babylon that affected ancient Judaism concerning angelic spirits and demons. Read the entire series Unmasking the Unseen to examine doctrines that have evolved.

You can dwell, psychologically, in the desired state. So, although you may not be able to tread physically upon a state or city, you can always tread psychologically upon any desired state. By treading psychologically, I mean that you can now, this moment, close your eyes and after visualizing or imagining a place or state other than your present one, actually FEEL that you are now in such a place or state. You can feel this condition to be so real that upon opening your eyes you are amazed to find that you are not physically there.

The Hebrew Prophets: A Jewish Perspective
This book explores the concept of prophecy in Judaism as defined by two great figures of Jewish history. Moses Maimonides and Abraham Joshua Heschel are two influential scholars who have impacted the many streams of Judaism. A simplistic dichotomy could be made between their two perspectives labeling Maimonides as a rational philosopher and Heschel as a mystical one. Both the study of Jewish prophecy and the approaches of both of the scholars are complex topics, but not impossible to decipher. The nature of revelation is also part of this discussion. To some scholars Maimonides' and Heschel's perspectives of God seem to be in conflict, one being Aristotelian while the other being a more traditional one in line with the Bible and the Talmud. With these factors in mind and based on the available data my book will support the following contention: Maimonides' and Heschel's different philosophical approaches about the biblical prophets are within the bounds of classical Judaism.

An exploration of Maimonides, the medieval philosopher, physician, and religious thinker, author of The Guide of the Perplexed, from one of the world’s foremost bibliophiles Moses ben Maimon, or Maimonides (1138–1204), was born in Córdoba, Spain. The gifted son of a judge and mathematician, Maimonides fled Córdoba with his family when he was thirteen due to Almohad persecution of all non-Islamic faiths. Forced into a long exile, the family spent a decade in Spain before settling in Morocco. From there, Maimonides traveled to Palestine and Egypt, where he died at Saladin’s court. As a scholar of Jewish law, a physician, and a philosopher, Maimonides was a singular figure. His work in extracting all the commanding precepts of Jewish law from the Hebrew Bible and the Talmud, interpreting and commenting on them, and translating them into terms that would allow students to lead sound Jewish lives became the model for translating God’s word into a language comprehensible by all. His work in medicine—which brought him such fame that he became Saladin’s personal physician—was driven almost entirely by reason and observation. In this biography, Alberto Manguel examines the question of Maimonides’ universal appeal—he was celebrated by Jews, Arabs, and Christians alike. In our time, when the need for rationality and recognition of the truth is more vital than ever, Maimonides can help us find strategies to survive with dignity in an uncertain world.
